Student assistant (40 hours per month)

The student assistant will support the "REWITCH" research project, which focuses on the development and demonstration of an absorption chiller for industrial waste heat utilisation for cold water supply at two temperature levels.

• Support for the development of software components for thermal and hydraulic design of components and their operational evaluation (30%)
• Support for the calibration of measurement devices (20%)
• Support with the commissioning (20%)
• Support with the detailed preparation of findings and their documentation (30%)

Required criteria:

• Willingness to work primarily on-site at the Charlottenburg campus of the Technical University of Berlin
• Demonstrable basic knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration technology
• Demonstrable basic knowledge of programming in Python
• Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.

Non-mandatory criteria:

• Basic knowledge of control engineering
• Basic knowledge of measurement technology
• Experience with data acquisition devices, controllers and data processing
