Student assistant (40 hours per month)

In the Berlin-Quantum-Project we are investigating Measurement-Based Quantum Computing with an emphasis on verification and benchmarking. We’re going to work as well on Quantum software for compilation and pattern optimization:

• Support in the investigation of derandomisation for quantum algorithms (50%)
• Support in the implementation of compiling techniques for Measurement-based Quantum Computing (25%)
• Support in the analysis of verification/benchmarking techniques (25%)

Mandatory criteria:

• Basic knowledge of Quantum Computing
• Good programming skills in Python
• Very good written and spoken English skills

Optional criteria:

• Good programming skills in Quantum Software Tools
• Initial experiences with Quantum Algorithms
• Familiarity with Measurement-Based Quantum Computing
• Familiarity with Quantum Compiling
• Team spirit
