Your responsibility
Theoretical research in the field of active and nonreciprocal systems (working group of Prof. Klapp) in connection with theoretical research on open, driven quantum systems (working group of Prof. Eckardt).
The aim is to carry out preliminary scientific work for a planned collaborative research project and to support the project in organizational terms.
Teaching assistance in Theoretical Physics.
Your profile
- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diploma or equivalent) and successfully completed PhD in physics or a related field (or completion by the start of the employment contract)
- very good knowledge in theoretical physics, especially in the theory of active nonreciprocal systems or interdisciplinary knowledge between the above-mentioned research areas
- very good programming skills and experience with numerical methods
- the ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
- experiences with third-party funding applications and in science management desirable
- high level commitment and ability to work independently desired
- experiences with teaching assistance are desirable
