Your responsibility
- Application of state-of-the-art structuring and nanotechnology processes
- Further development of process equipment for semiconductor nanotechnology
- Setup and maintenance of electronic and optical measurement systems
- Organization and collaboration in low-temperature and laser systems
- Safety aspects and further development of the IT infrastructure in the research group
Your profile
- Completed relevant university degree (bachelor's or technical college diploma) in physics or engineering with additional knowledge of semiconductor technology and vacuum technology
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor technologies, especially in the areas of thin-film deposition techniques, vacuum technology, measurement technology, and the design and control (programming) of electronic and optical measurement setups
- Experience in handling hazardous substances and responsible monitoring of safety and precautionary measures for occupational safety and environmental protection
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the field of IT
- Very good knowledge of German
- Ability to work independently in a complex environment is desirable
- Many years of experience in the independent operation of complex networks of semiconductor processing systems and scientific measurement setups are an advantage
- Detailed knowledge and skills in the metrological analysis of semiconductor structures are desirable
- Knowledge and experience in CNC programming/manufacturing are desirable
- Knowledge of CAD design are desirable
- Knowledge of soldering and welding are desirable
- Confident technical English skills are desirable
- Excellent social skills in working with constantly changing students and postdoctoral researchers who may not speak German is desirable
- Independent, reliable, accurate approach to work and self-driven initiative is desirable
- Quick technical comprehension is desirable
- Ability to work in a team, service orientation, consulting skills ist desirable
