Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification phase (for doctorate)

• Collaboration in teaching and research, on projects of the working group in the field of computational neuroscience, e.g., on bilingual language acquisition in biological and artificial systems; modelling and methods of machine learning for robust neurocognitive applications; natural language processing
• Assistance in maintaining the working group's computer infrastructure
• Supervision of tutorials in courses offered by the department in the field of data science and natural language processing

• Successfully completed academic degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in computer science or related fields
• Competence in data science and computational neuroscience (required)
• Very good programming skills in Python and Jupyter Hub (required)
• The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
• Research experience in modelling neural systems (can be a plus)
• Teaching experience ( can be a plus) and experience in UNIX server administration ( can be a plus)
