Student assistant (40 hours per month)

The research group “Language and Communication in Artificial and Biological Systems,” led by Prof. Dr. Fatma Deniz, is seeking support for the “LINGSHIFT” research project, which involves the creation of stimulus materials and data collection for an fMRI study on second language acquisition.

• Assistance with the creation of stimulus materials (25%)
• Assistance with fMRI data acquisition (45%)
• Assistance with preparing and conducting the study with the participants (30%)

Must criteria:

• Very strong knowledge of psychology or linguistics
• Excellent written and spoken German and Ukrainian
• Good written and spoken English skills

Can criteria:

• Excellent written and spoken Ukrainian
• Experience working with research participants and collecting fMRI data
• Experience in programming fMRI experiments
• Strong knowledge of Python
