Student assistant (40 hours per month)

Mitarbeit im Teilprojekt B03 "Multiple Einkapselungen: Gated Communities, Kunstenklaven und kinderfreie Räume / Multiple Encapsulations: Gated Communities, Artistic Enclaves and Child-free Spaces“ des interdisziplinären Forschungsverbunds „Re-Figuration von Räumen“ (SFB 1265).

• Unterstützung bei der Vor- und Nachbearbeitung von Erhebungen der Fallstudie in Südkorea/Seoul, Brasilien und der Schweiz (40%)
• Unterstützung bei der Anwendung und Auswertung visueller Methoden (Fotografie, Mapping u.a.) (40%)
• Unterstützung bei der inhaltlichen Vorbereitung von wissenschaftlichen Veranstaltungen (10%)
• Literaturrecherche (10%)

Mandatory criteria:

• Good knowledge in the field of architecture/urban design or urban and architecture sociology/ethnography
• Good knowledge of visual methods in spatial research (mapping, visualization)
• Experience in literature review and proper citation
• Good German and/or English language skills required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills

Optional criteria:

• Initial Experiences with Feminist Approaches in Urban Research
• Initial Experiences with experimenting with mapping methods (counter-mapping, experiential mapping)
• Good written and spoken Korean skills
