Student assistant (40 hours per month)

We are looking for support to assist with the “"FSJ: Wasser und Wassermanagement" project in the following areas:

• Support for programming and development of validation strategies in the field of leak detection and localization in water distribution networks (25%)
• Support to literature research in the field of emergency water supply planning (25%)
• Support in coding (Python) and model development in the field of emergency water supply planning (25%)
• Assistance with the editorial revision of academic texts (25%)

Mandatory criteria:

• Experience in writing technical text and preparing technical presentations
• Experience with online research and literature research
• Good knowledge and experience in coding with Python or in water resources systems modelling and related software
• Very good knowledge of English written and spoken

Optional criteria

• Strong knowledge in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering
• Good knowledge of German written and spoken
