Student assistant (40 hours per month)

Your responsibility

Support for the Mouse Lock Box 2.0 project aimed at automatically identifying positive emotions in mice as they solve lock-box tasks:

  • Support for computer vision-based analysis of data from lock-box experiments
  • Support for integrating facial recognition and classification of the animals’ emotional state using the Mouse Grimace Scale (MGS)
  • Support in programming an interface to automate MGS analysis for video data

Your profile

Required criteria:

  • Profound knowledge of computer vision, image analysis, and machine learning
  • Strong programming skills (C/C++, Python)
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills

Optional criteria:

  • Strong background in computer science or a closely related field
