Student assistant (40 hours per month)

We are looking for laboratory support for the “Dielectric Properties” project:

• Assistance with sample preparation (pressing, sieving, milling) (40%)
• Assistance with carrying out routine experiments (30%)
• Assistance with instrument automation and testing (10%)
• Assistance with construction and assembly of devices and piping (20%)

Required criteria:

• Experience working in a research laboratory or on a research project
• Good knowledge of the basics of lab safety and work with powders
• Good knowledge of chemistry or materials science
• Proven experience with Python, Origin, R, or MATLAB
• Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills

Optional criteria:

• Experience with Jupyter, Git/GitLab, or CI
• Initial experience in the field of catalysis
• Reliability and punctuality
