Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - for qualification

• Research in quantum communication and cryptography
• Exploration of verification protocols and quantum network routing
• Collaboration with experimental groups and industry to identify use cases for future quantum networks
• Support with teaching and administrative tasks
• Teaching tasks

• Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in the field of computer science or physics
• The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
• Extensive knowledge of quantum computing and communication
• Experience in Python
• Knowledge of LaTeX
• Willingness to travel abroad for workshops and conferences is desired
• Teamwork is desired
