2 Positions - Research Associate (Postdoc) - salary grade 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

• Synthesis of novel redox-active bis-silylenes
• Reactivity studies towards inert multiple bonds such as in dinitrogen
• Immobilization of redox-active bis-silylenes on graphene substrates for electrocatalytic reduction of small molecules
• Experimental and theoretical investigation of reaction mechanisms

• Very succesful completed university studies (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) in and Ph.D. in chemistry, with a focus on organometallic chemistry
• Profound knowledge and experience in experimental molecular chemistry, including synthesis, characterization, and reactivity studies, especially in silicon chemistry
• Very good knowledge of English is essential; German language skills desirable
